Putting it on your phone
Planye runs in any browser, and every browser can put it on a home screen: an icon, no address bar, and the planner where your other apps are. Nothing is downloaded and there is no account setting for it.
- AndroidChrome offers Install app, or the menu has Add to home screen.

- Undo itRemove the icon the way you remove any other. Nothing is lost.
Putting it on a home screen
- Open Planye in Chrome or Edge and sign in.
- Press the install icon at the end of the address bar.
- It opens in its own window, out of your tabs.
- Open Planye in your phone's browser and sign in.
- On Android, take the offer Chrome makes, or open its menu and pick Add to home screen. On an iPhone, press Share and then Add to Home Screen.
- Open it from the icon. It launches without the browser's bars.
What changes, and what does not
It is the same planner and the same account: an icon, its own window and a bit more screen. Everything you write syncs exactly as it did.
It still needs a connection to open. Once it is open your planner is read from your own machine, so a wobbly signal is no problem, but launching it from scratch with nothing at all is not something to rely on yet.

Not yet. The home screen icon above is the whole of it today and works on every phone. A store app is coming, and it will be the same planner and the same account.
My browser never offers to install it.
Firefox and some others do not make the offer at all, and Chrome sometimes waits until you have used the site more than once. On an iPhone there is never an offer: it is always Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Will I have two copies if I keep the tab as well?
No. Both are the same planner on the same account, and a change in one shows in the other.
If I remove the icon, do I lose my planner?
No, as long as you have an account: everything is on it and signing in anywhere brings it back. A guest planner is the exception, because it only lives in that browser. See Trying it without an account.
Do I need a tablet or a stylus?
No. Everything is typed and tapped, on whatever device you have. Planning a whole week is easier on a computer; a phone is handy for checking your day.
